Replacement of obsolete control system on an 18-head spot-welding machine, welding 68-foot assemblies. They wanted the machine to move twice as fast, so I upgraded the servo drive motors, driver and a helical gearbox and beefed-up transmission shafts. The new control had to be slowed down to suit the production line
